Hi All,

I have aquired a wrecked 1995 GL1500i that I'm trying to put back together. (You may have noticed a few newby posts.)I'm working on the saddlebag stay, and I've just about got it straighten out. However, can somebody give me the measurement from the floor to the bottom of the bottom saddlebag bracket while attached to the bike? (The weldments where the bottom of the bag screws to.) I think it should be somewhere around 16" or so. TIA

Forgot to mention that the measurement should be taken with the bike on the center stand. Thanks.

I'll do it tomorrow, with bike on main stand (front wheel on the ground) and rear suspension set to 0 psi.

Okay, bike on mainstand, no air preesure in the rear shock and the front wheel on the floor with proper air pressure;

Floor to bottom of front saddlebag mounting point is 39.5cm
Floor to bottom ofrear saddlebag mounting point is 38.5cm
Floor to bottom of centre mount (where the exhaust bolt goes) is 35.5cm.

Hope this helps.

Jason,

Thanks so much for your effort. The measurements will be a significant help. Thanks again.
