1996 1500 correct color seat

I am trying to figure out what is the correct color seat for my 1996 GL1500. The bike is Candy Spectra Red. Aspencade. Trim around rear speakers and dash is a very dark brown. I have seen black and grey seats, but never a brown. Was there a dark brown seat? Bike had a saddleman when I bought it.

I found a black seat and used it to ride to Branson this spring. Would like to find a nice brown with the back rest. Start watching ebay.

I have been told it is bison brown... I had one as well..



I would think that a quick look on HDL would reveal the true colour options for that year...
