This is a re-hash of several other posts.I have no fuelgauge, reverse, running lights or overdrive light, plus several other dash lights. From other posts in the past I went and purchased a new relay R3(10amp blue relay) after checking all fusesto be good. After replacing the relay I have no change.I have a electronics background so I have the meter out looking for 12 volts on each side of the relay. I have 12 volts coming in nothing going out. I used a fiveamp fuse and jumpered across the contacts in the relay box and all the indications are present. Does any one knowwhat to look for or how to check the relay? Only thing I can figure is that I received a bad relay????

Check for 12V on the relay coil. The green wire on Relay 3 is ground, the black wire is the 12V supply from fuse #11.I'd check the green wire for continuity to ground and the black wire for 12V. If you don't find 12V on it jump a 12V source to it and see what happens when the relay is forced to energize. If that brings things to life then it's just a matte to trace the 12V wire back through the fuse to it's source.

Thanks Paul,

I figured it out, My electrical drawing that I had was not correct. R3 is the top row last relay I swapped out second row last relay which was not the correct relay. I currently pulled the pump relay and placed it in that slot while I order a new one. Indications are back.

Thanks

Allen

Glad to hear you found it. Try an auto parts store for a replacement relay, these things are pretty much universal.
