It's pretty easy, with Access-ability being the only problem... Takes about 1hr to do.

The seal pops out with use of a dental-pick or similar tool... then the new seal pops into place.

I found it really, really easy too............hardest part arranging a ride back from my mechanic's shop.

He called me just as I got off the bus at home. Cost me 30 minutes of labour and if I had know it was that damn easy, I would have sat at the shop and waited.

Okay, okay...........the rest of that story is that my mechanic I have a deal. He hates to waste time stripping bodywork and shields off and I hate the finicky stuff (Arthritis being what it is, and all!)

The deal is that I deliver my bike to him with the necessary bodywork stripped off and he does the finicky, precision and important stuff. Hence the half hour only of charged time.
