Hello I am new to this forum and I am hoping someone here has one into the issue I am dealing with.
The screws holding the windshield in were frozen. I tried EVERYTHING and they would not budge. I finally resulted to drilling the heads off so I could get the old windshield off.
I found out that if I remove the two side lights I can get to the back part that the screws screwed into by taking out the little clip. I was able to do that and i have the two side screw receptors now ready to receive the new replacement screws I bought from Honda.
However the three screws in the middle backing square plates that the windshield screws screwed into you cannot get to. So...I am trying to figure out what do I need to do so I can get to the center backing plates. It's all black plastic and you would think there must be some way to get to them. A sane person would have left the slots at the top so you could drop in a new one and then but the washer and clip on. I am desperate and I really need some help.
Thanks,
Vernon
