2003 forkseal blues

Hey Gentlemen,

It started with a little oil on the left fork tube. They have about 30k since the last time I replaced them. I was considering waiting to replace the seals over the winter, but it seamed to get worse over a few weeks. I take the bike on long rides so didn't want to get stuck far from home. Took the forks off and brought them to my local Honda dealer where they charged me $185 for the labor and another $75 for the kit. (Yes, my ass is still sore!) Here is where it gets good. I'm about 300 miles from home and the left fork seal explodes after hitting a bump! Fork fluid everywhere. Wheel, brakes, motor, boots, pants, jacket, sunglasses, helmet and face. Limp home after cleaning up mess and call dealer. Before I can finish my sentence he tells me the tubes are bad and not his workmanship. "Bring it in for another round of backdoor fun." I live in northern NJ and the dealerships are going under like flies. The two that remain are poor at best. Is there anyone out there that can recommend a honest mechanic that knows Goldwing repair for this problem and future work? Any recommendations would be highly appreciated. Scope Down bee8ch
