I'm pretty sure your starter button will cut out both high and low beams so maybe that's not the problem. Check fuses, relays, dimmer switch, bulbs.
2010 GL starter swich
Got on bike this AM, hit starter & no headlights. I have taillights & high beams only. Fuse good. I blew thru a can of WD 40 trying to clean the switch contacts like the dealership mechanic told me to, still a no go. Anybody with another fix? MY dealer is 55 miles away & my bike is my daily driver. I really can't afford for it to be down. She has 60k miles.

I'm betting both bulbs are burned out. Low beams are easy to change.

Ok I put an idiot light in the circuit & yup there was power. Both FREAKING bulbs let go. Guess I should of expected it. I had to change the high beams about 4 months ago. Thanks for saving me an unneeded trip.
