Decided to tackle the CC while doing an air filter change. First time doing an 1800 ac replacement. NOT fun, but in the end the bike runs better and I didn’t end up with any extra parts, screws, nuts or bolts. That’s always a good thing...
I went for broke on the cruise control and gave the adjustment 4 1/4 turns, strapped on my helmet and pulled out onto I-20. Accelerated to 75, held my breath and hit the set switch. Perfect...! Locked in with no deviation.

Sweet I just did mine yesterday.

4 1/2 hours to replace that mouse home / air filter.

I put metal in the air scoops maybe that will keep them out.....IDK.

But I did turn out that adjustment also, probably not four turns.

Haven't tried it yet.

I also installed the Back Off brake controller while I had it apart.

I'll try it out tomorrow.

An easy to adjust the cruise is to start the bike, get it warm, turn the nut until the RPM's start to go up, then back it off to where it is at idle and tighten it up.
