Lightning Motorcycle SuperBike recently broke the record for fastest motorcycle for sale in North America. The bike averaged 215 miles per hour and topped out at 218 MPH when it was tested at the Bonneville Salt Flats Speed Week last week. Oh, and it’s electric.

No problem designing a fast electric bike the real hard thing is designing one that's fast over a 200 mile course.

I bet it won't be long.
Pull into the pits, swap battery packs and back out on the track.

I am a BIG fan of EV's.
No crankshafts, no pistons, no valves, no clutches, no transmissions, etc.

The more mechanical, the more complicated, The more there is to break.

The only moving part on a electric motor is the rotor - K.I.S.S.
