I recently brought my bike (93 aspencade w/ 129k miles) to the dealer for a anti freeze leak i couldn't track down. One month and $600 later :shock:..they changed most of the hoses and seals on top of the engine that were hard to get to and the water pump. Does that sound reasonable as far as the cost goes? :stumped:It took so long because they had to order parts 3 separate times.

Nope, sounds like they didn't diagnose anything jsut changed everything..good from them bad for you..what's the hourly rate over there?? Around here that's about 10 hours labor no parts. How much was the pump and all the gaskets and seals?

Water pump $160.00
Inlet hose $35.00
Gasket $4.00
Orings for lower
tubes $10.00

Top seals and
O rings............$20.00

most likely did not change
radiator hoses
(2) $90.00

Bike Bandit has clamps listed for $9.00 ea.


Shops around here are 110.00 per hour.

So I guess $600 is not all that bad considering the labor involved. Thanks for posting that!:waving:
