Did anyone happen to see this sweet 75 sell on Ebay this week for 6600.00 out of Wisconcin . Said it had 3300 miles a real blast from the past. Like walking into a Honda showroom in 1975 and riding it home.. Wow

I saw it too, and thought "Wow", but, all the hoses have to be replaced......

Wow, wish this was mine! If even replacing tires, hoses, belts, I'd have to suffer through it, no problem.

Geez AZ that sure brings a buyer down the earth doesn't it...:cheeky1:

Look honey what I just bought!! I only have to change 20 things on it to make it road worthy...:action:

But then again, it may be going straight to a museum or garage as a keepsake;)

She was a beauty....

If I remember, the seller said there wasn't even any dry-rot on the factory tires. I'm thinking it must have been stored in Micheal Jackson's hyperbaric chamber!!! ;)

It may not need all that much replaced. I have a 1978 KZ650 and a 1980 KZ1000 that have less than 4000 miles each and no rot on the original tires, no problems with any of the original rubber, but this is Honda. Honda wasn't quite built like a Kawasaki:)

Wouldn't you think the carbs would need work. Gas is ugly when it gets old and the belts would be another thing I would question.

I doubt anyone paid $6600 for it as a rider. It's gonna be a show bike I'd bet on it. The seller said the carbs were replaced with rebuilt carbs because the originals were too clogged to work with, so the carbs are probably OK.

I bet the air filter was a lot easier to get to in those days.

Dude! Yet again i find myself looking at those older wings and thinking: Whatabike!

All those tubes and wires
And careful notes
And antiquated notions

Poetry in motion...

Gives me hope if I ever decide to sell my 75 with only 3800 miles.
