I have a 1976 Goldwing 1000 LTD with only 37,540miles on it. It is not in the best shape but I have been working on it for the past5 years. It has been aslowly process due to money and time. Unfortunately I have to sell it because my first child is expected in November. It has a clean title and runs it would be on the road but I don't have the money for an exhaust system. I can give you more details if you are interested. I am located in Erie PA, you will have to trailer the bike because it doesn't have an exhaust.Thebikedoes run and that is the only thing keeping it from being on the road currently. Last week I took the headers off to fit the muffalors on that I got for the bike. When I started welding patches on the headers I found that they were shot also. I am still looking at option on what to do but I have no money to spend.

Some detail:

New head gaskets
Ignition coils
Repaired gas tank
New rear brake spring and switch
Repaired Carbs (matching numbers)

many more...

What it still needs:

New Paint (will include with bike)
New Seat
Choke Cable
Exhaust System

I am lookingto get $800 butwill take best offer, I must sell itsoon. Thisbike will be aperfect candidatefor a winter restoration.Thebike will nottake much to get it ready fornext spring if not this fall. If anyone isinterested pleaseemail or post a reply.I do not want to sell it but I have some other higher priorities right now.

Do you have any of the parts that came with the LTD model? The gold colored wheels, brown colored radiator dams, shelter, side covers, etc?

Well I am not sure what parts are specific to the LTD model and with your question; I am starting to wonder if it is an LTD. I do not have the Gold colored wheels; I am not sure what the brown colored radiator dams are. I do have the shelter and side covers and will look tonight to check that they have the LTD stamp on them. What else should I look for to make sure it is an LTD model?

I posted some pictures of the bike in my gallery let me know if you can't find them. Is anybody interested?

Just a plain GL1000. The LTD looks like this:

Well going by that picture I would have to say it would be just a plain GL100. Is there a way to tell by the vin??
