hello-- the cam seal is leaking on the right front of my 77 wing--

After removing timing belt and cam shaft pulley do i loosenrocker shaftetc, to get a proper fit of the new seal ? Or can it be done just with removal of the cam pulley

Loosening the bolts directly over the seal will make it easier to R&R.

if i loosen the bolts , reassembly must include resetting valves etc , a lot of work for a small seal--i do appreciate your help

It shouldn't affect the valves if you don't over tighten them. It never hurts to check anyway.
