Greetings All.
I'm back once again with another question about my Son's new-to-him Wing. (he should be arriving here soon himself and I'll stop with the pestering)
In searching the forum I found no answer to this question so if it has been answered I apologize.

Will a 140/80-17 Metzler ME880 fit without rubbing on the 77 GL1000??

Don't know about the rubbing but that's a tubeless tire and you'd have to put a tube in it to run on your rim.

Yes that is understood, Thanks. I appreciate your not making any assumptions on my level of knowledge and that is pretty much nil on Wings so Thanks again.

My reason for asking specifically about that tire is:
1. I have run them on my Guzzi for over 100k miles and even in sidecar service I get on average 8k out of a rear.
2. They stick better than I can ride, in all types of weather.
3. My Son has a 'strong wrist'.
4. They don't make a 130/90-17
