79 1000 Tach problem

The port down by fuel pump where tach cable attaches, the little tab that sticks up has broken off, so my tach is of no use, anyone know where I can find a replacement part so I can get tach working again.

Don't know what tab you could mean. Is it part of the fuel pump mount or the tach drive gear? 1100s use the same part and I have some laying around so If you can't find one locally send me a PM.

I THINK he means the tach drive housing..the tab the bolt goes through to secure it to the head??? I have one too.
