How do I know if I have set the timing right. Tryed it both wats and still have blow back in all four cylinders. Is this normal.

i dont think that the timing is adjustable on the 1100. i think i would look for crossed wires. to check change coil wire power leads with a couple jumper wires. in other words -- 180 out of time. it happen to me. like to have never found it. good luck with it.

just put carbs back on. i know u cant adjust timing. is there any way to tell if it is 180 out. still working on it but just checking about blow back. thanks

Just switch the igniter connectors. If you got the cams 180 off that will make it right again.
