The radio likes to cut out on me when I give it some throttle or hit a bump or crank it up (this is only after about 15 minutes of driving) And the display doesn't work. I believe it to be a clarion I.

Have you checked the fuses in the fairing for corrosion or looseness? I would lok there first, they are behind the left turn signal.

I took the pocket out and checked all the wires and fuses. I'm going to try the CRL method and hope that works. I will post the results.

:waving:Sounds like possibly a loose connection in the Type I radio. Call Sierra Electronics a call @ 800-338-6938 as they should be able to tell you what might be wrong with your radio.
