81 GL1100 Rebuild

Well after setting the timing wrong and breaking a valve and piston, I'm finally ready to rebuild my motor. I bought the last two .50 over piston in the US and finally found two more in the UK which arrive a couple of days ago. Today off to the machine shop to have her bored and honed. I'm going to take pictures of the rebuild if anyone is interested. I'll keep you informed on the progress, Coot

Sorry about your having to rebuild.If It's not to painful and IF i'm not being ignorant could you please explain what you did wrong on your belt replacment??

I'm changeing mine soon and not only me but other Winger's could benifit from your info.Your carb work look's great!!!!
