Well you can't trust anyone, the machine shop I sent my blocks to over bored two of cylinders and my wrench had a fit when he saw the bore and hone job they did,he's very anal. Now it off to have them resleaved and bored again and the rest of my valves just arrived, I can't get a break, Coot

Well I finally found another set of cases for my 1100. I've sent them to the best machine shop intown to get bored. Maybe I can finally get this project finished, Coot

Hello all, it's been awhile. Well my new block was just drop off and the guy did a great job boring a honing the cylinders compared to the dumb-ass who screwed up the original block. I hope to start reassembling the engine as soon as I finish the cabinet job I'm working on. I'm planning to post pics either here or on my home page. Coot

Sorry about your having to rebuild.If It's not to painful and IF i'm not being ignorant could you please explain what you did wrong on your belt replacment??

I'm changeing mine soon and not only me but other Winger's could benifit from your info.Your carb work look's great!!!!

The belts had been removed for months while i painted the frame and powder coated the rest of the parts. When I finally reinstalled the belts the right one was 180 out. Major $%&^up, got confused by the other mark on the cam pulley. Someone just posted great instruction to change the belt, remember to hand turn the engine as if you screw up like me you will have a hard time finding piston, I bought the last two in the US and the last two in the UK. About two months ago I broke a belt on my Ducati 851, haven't taken a look at the head yet but with 4 valve per head I have a feeling it going to be costly -Coot
