Just wondering........ i am riding a 81 interstate 1100........ i took the trunk off the other day and love the look....... i like a cruiser type of look... only problem is.... the little woman needs something to lean on on long rides......... looking around for a sissy bar for it........ found one that was off a 84 interestate.......... will it fit ?? or not?? if not does anyone happen to know where a guy can find a sissy bar for the 81?

It should fit. A guy in my neck of the woods fitted a whole gl1200 (aftermarket Krauser) rack and trunk box from a totalled 1200 and it fitted straight onto his gl1100 plain jane. :waving:

I think you are right DJ. I've seen this done myself with a GIVI rack and top box.
