just finished putting the rebuilt carbs on the bike and attempted to start it. I have not put the whole aircleaner assembly on yet as I wanted to at least hear it start first. What I noticed was gas pumping into the plenum assembly from the number 3 carb. Any thoughts on this.

pull the carbs back out

put them on a bench and get some sort of fuel pump and fill them with fuel, this could also be done with a gravity flow setup

then take a screwdriver and tap the offending carb with the handle and see if it quits leaking or if you need to take them back apart
