Hi everyone,
Have you ever started a little project on your bike and when done had to start another one because of what the first project changed. Then you had to start a third project because of the first two… and so on?
Well here I sit…
Again.
My newest question is:
I am looking for a way to raise the height of the passenger foot rest. I need to get a few more inches (3 – 4 inches I think) of height. Are their “Tall” foot pegs out there? Perhaps a different set of brackets that hold the foot pegs?
I have recently replaced my seat with a new Sadelmen Deluxe one. My new seat is awesome and I like it back as far as it goes. Soooo, now my wife is cramped. The next project I built yesterday was a custom trunk relocation kit and moved the trunk back 3.5”. Great room for us both now.
In doing this, I did not take into account the new angle that my wife’s legs would be at over the saddle bags. The saddle bag now cuts into her legs and her feet do not touch the pegs. I’ll measure tomorrow to see how much of a rise she will need. I am just floating the idea around right now.
Oh yeah... next item is a new andbigger windsheild. Our heads are out in the jet stream!!
Tim.
PS. I’ll post what I did to my trunk if anyone is interested. I have good pictures and details.
