While in reverse direction all wear points between brake pads and rotors undergo reversal of the normal wear points and often pad material enters between disc and pad thus a squeal when motion, but as soon as you go forward the disc and pads remove the minute particles that cause the vibrational noise, especially when the bars are turned off centre. Keep doing regular maintenance and inspections of the brakes. Nothing to worry about unless there is no pad left and rotors are marked.
