have a problem with 1982 Clarion radio that someone may be able to help me with. Radio does work but frequency up and down buttons don't work so radio has only one freq. forAM and FM. Any ideas

Which version of the radio is I or II? I replaced the switches in the controller on my Clarion II and it fixed it right up. I had never even soldered before and I was able to do the job.
