I have a 83 GL 1100 and have had the carbs apart 3 times unable to get number 1 to idle. Does the idle jet have a hole the goes all the way thru from top to bottom or is it only have the four somall holes in it? Does anyone have a picture of the jet and show all the holes in it. Won't idle down well and when it does it wants to die and on take off it runs very poor can you show me the idle circut and all the places that they plug. Sorry made a mistake on the post it is a 1983 GL 1100.

Thanks

Yes a hole goes all the way through the jet, it is very small, about .012".
Did you synchronize the carbs after you put them on?

Here is a link to all you need to know.
