If the main problem for these front brakes hanging up is the return hole ( .013 Dia ) getting plugged up , is there a reason why it can't be opened up to .030 or .040 so as to eliminate the problem. Has anyone tried it----what were your results? Just a thinkin"

I have not tried it, but, It seems like too much pressure would bled off as the brake pedal is depressed. I also thought about doing that to my rear mc on the 1000. I didn't do it for the above mentioned reason.

There should be someone with more knowledge along in a few minutes.

Update! Fixed--the kit I rec'd to rebuild front master cyl was not correct. I knew this on day one, decided not to use the new spool furnished but would use the seals and all would be well. WRONG! The rear seal was evidently a few thousandths longer than the original, therefore keeping the bleed back hole almost covered. Took the master cyl apart (3 times) and the last time machined .030 off spool face allowing seal to expose bleed hole. All is well---Wheeeh!!
