Maybe a Harley windshield will do the trick.
maybe a vetter??
There's a guy who rigged a batwing faring to his goldwing and called it a "Honda-Davidson", and posted vids on youtube. I emailed him for instructions, but he never got back to me. Shame, because I felt it looked awesome. He mentioned something in the youtube thread about going commercial with it and selling conversion brackets, but i guess that never got off the ground.

i know it's do-able, but i dont know how.
dkl,

National Cycle makes a bunch of different models for your bike.

Look here:

I'm kinda partial to the Street Shield EX, or for more coverage either the PlexiStar 2 or the PlexiFairing 3.

Great company. Take a look.
I have the National Cycle Plexifairing 3 on mine. Works great.

Happy STANDARD goldwing riding....
After rideing many miles with both windshields and a bat wing fairing. I bit the bullet and bought a Vetter windjammer when they first came out. Could not believe the difference. Handled much better, got better mileage and wind protection and also rain protection. Now on the newer bikes, has anyone noticed that the early goldwings and even now the HD road glide profiles are almost identical to the 'old Vetters??? Maybe I am the only one who has noticed that. Any way, the HD riders that have got the road glides love them, better protection and handleing. Hmm, maybe Craig had it correct to begin with? Older windjammers are a dime a dozen literally on e bay. Get one with the brackets and be happy.

+1 on the Plexifairing 3. Forget trying to make your GW look like an HD and whatever you do don't start wearing a scarf on your head.
For what it's worth any wind screen attached to the forks/handlebars will affect high speed handling.
90MPH seems to be the magic number, any higher and the bike goes squirrely.
