I am in the process of restoring an 82 Interstate and redoing the wiring (what a mess) the previous owner had a stator burn out, and was cutting wires to find out why nothing worked properly! I am looking at my Clarion Type II stereo control head. There is 1 white wire with a yellow band on it, with a six pin connector, and a black wire with a 8 pin connector and purple band that I have no clue where they connect to. I have figured out where everything else goes.... Any Ideas????

Thanks for your help! Right now the fairing parts are out for painting after all the cracks have been repaired. I have one crack on the exhaust support bracket to repair before I send the frame for powder coating. Hopefully I will have everything together for spring riding. Right now there is 4 ft of snow so the dream of riding will have to wait.
