82 Speedometer needed

Yeppers, the aftermarket speedo i bought out of Canada went out on me today with less than 5,000 miles on it. Won't make that mistake again.

So, I'm looking for a good low mileage one off an 82 or 83 Interstate, analog model, not digital.

I'm pretty sure I have one, unsure about the mileage.

Seems to me it was 40k or so?

I'll check when I get home.

I'll shoot some pics and post them.

Did you try writing the one you bought it from and see if there is some kind of warranty ? I was looking at his today as I need a speedo also. Was his made in China?

Don't buy those from the guy i got mine from. The odometer and trip meter records in Kilometers instead of miles. also the odometer and trip meter numbers on the little wheels are peeling on the corners already.

My original one has a speed sensor mounted on the back of it too, yours doesn't. Doesn't matter to me anyways as i have nothing that requires it. Maybe mine wasn't the original.

I didn't take it off, I needed the the plastic cover over the idiot lights and foundthis gauge set on ebay, so this one is a spare. Iswapped the fuel and temp gauge and I thought about swapping the speedo since mine shows 82k, but since I have good maint records, I decided I wouldn't change and keep the mileage true. The tach is in good shape also if needed.
