What is the popper procedure in removing the swing arm on my '83 Aspencade? can i just wrench it off or do I need an Impact gun on both sides?

There is a lock nut on the left side that needs a special tool according to the book. Something can probably be made to suffice. Remove the lock nut then the left and right pivot bolts.

The pivot bolt on the right tends to be tight and you will probably need a long bar on your socket to get the initial crack.
