Anybody know the diameter of the end of the crankshaft on an '84 Aspencade?Theshaft diameter, not the bearing that it rides in, is what I need. And are both ends the same dimension? I have an incomplete manual here....any info on this would be appreciated! Thank you! Loren

Sorry, I can't help you there, but I'm very curious why you need to know that? Wassup? You're planning something really cool, aren't you...:baffled:

The last time I messed with camshaft bearings was on an old Ariel Square Four for a friend. He needed the end bearing ground undersize, and a new insert for it to press into the head journal...;)

Checked Clymer, Haynes, and the Honda manual and could not find camshaft diameters...only diameters for the bearing journals. Someone will come along with the info you need though.

Good luck!

SORRY GUYS! What I meant to state was CRANK shaft, not camshaft. And, yes, I am doing something weird....gonna attempt to pull the crank and put an electric motor in its place. This Aspencade came to me with no saddle, no carbs, dismantled clutch cable, and I am creating an electric reverse trike. Any info on the CRANKshaft diameter? Thanks again! Loren
