i bought this 84 gl 1200 for 1000 runs good just needs some paint work and some body work just took all the body work off next few weeks i well have painted it up just cant decide on the color

Congrats and welcome to the forum. I'm sure many will chime in suggesting a color...usually it ends up in a debate which is the "fastest" color....and we all know it's white!

Myself, I kinda like the color it is.

Repaint it that same color with a touch of gold flake?

"Fastest color", I just can't wrap my head around that one anymore, especially onmy Goldwing.

I don't wanna go fast anymore :cool:

Welcome to the forum. Not trying to start an arguement, but Ferrari Red is the fastest color (it works on a Ferrari, why not a wing) It'll add a few ponies just with the paint...

Nice find for $1K.

Whats wrong with the paint? Looks good in the pics, other than a few water run marks that can be cleaned up and buffed.

Yup - you need to find a decent used upper fairing.

Not that hard to find, nor is it that expensive.
