Can anyone help me with this. I have hooked up the yellow to yellow, blue to blue, the two black wires from the harness to the ballast resistor, and the 2 blk/wht wires wired to each of the other posts on the coils. (the ones without the colored wires attached to them)
I get very little spark on the back 2 plugs, and none on the front at all.
Please tell me I did not get a bad set of coils..

There were no 84 1100s. Depending on what the coils are from some use ballast resistors and some do not. If you have coils for use with no resistor they may not be getting enough voltage to fire.

I lied, they are 83, Sorry.
I also tried removing the resistor from the circuit and no diff.
i have dyna ignition so using 1.5 ohm ballast resistor.
Just ohmed out each coil with wires, 17.5 on both.. 23 with plug caps on.
