1984 Honda GL1200 GoldWing with 55,000 miles.[/b] It has new Pirelli tires, fork seals, NGK plugs, UNI air filter. It’s a Standard with a Vetter Windjammer fairing/windshield and hinged top hard bags, air horn, hi-way pegs. Original GoldWing seat in excellent condition, painted white, runs excellent, 40 MPG.
I’ve put close to 10,000 miles on this and have no reservations about it at all. 50 miles on oil and filter change. The alternator plug has not been changed but shows no sign of overheating or corrosion. I do not know when the timing belts were last changed.
I’m asking $2795 or best offer or trade.
1987 Honda GL1200 GoldWing Interstate with 38,000 miles.[/b] Original Amethyst Gray Metallic. This bike is in great condition. It has a Drag Specialties replacement seat with Utopia backrest, factory driver floorboards, trunk and bag mats, GW logo highway pegs, and the Eagle lighted fender ornament. Paint, plastic, upholstery, chrome all in nice condition. Original clear, un-yellowed windshield with side mounted wind wings. At one time it had a radio mounted. It has the original blanks in the fairing but there are some small mounting holes behind them. The fairing blank off covers for the speaker holes have been replaced with the correct speaker covers but no speakers are present. Holes were drilled in the trunk lid and it had speakers mounted inside. These were removed and it now has a pair of box speakers mounted on the outside of the trunk lid that somewhat resemble the factory style surface mount speakers.
It has very good (almost new) Dunlops and a brand new battery. The alternator plug has not been changed but shows no sign of overheating or corrosion. I do not know when the timing belts were last changed. Fresh Valvoline synthetic oil, Fram filter and NGK plugs. This bike has standard features of integrated foot brake (does both front & rear), TRAC anti-dive front suspension, air suspension, hazard flashers, and self canceling turn signals.
I’ve only put a few hundred miles on this but it runs super. I was going to keep this along side my gray 88 but thought I shouldn’t be greedy and I should let someone else enjoy something that’s as much fun as a Caddy Convertible but at 40mpg.
I’m asking $3395.
I’m looking to trade for a 4x4 ¾ ton pickup or PWC or guns.
