85 goldwing aspencade gl1200a front brake lever switch getting hot and smoking,radio makes popping noise,and All the lights dim on the motorcycle.
All this bc of pressing the brake lever.
Any suggestions?

You have a short in the brake light circuit. Remove the bulbs and see if it goes away then reinstall them one at a time.

Or the switch itself is shorting out. What happens when you press the rear brake?
