ThanksI have a really undersize AGM in my '93, came in the bike when I bought it 6 yrs ago. Who knows when the PO installed it. There's a piece of 1x6 board behind the battery to keep it from sliding around in the box. Powers the bike just fine - still!
I'd just keep it.

Went online bought a Y50-N18L-A3-12 Volt 21 AH, 350 CCA, Rechargeable Maintenance Free SLA AGM Motorcycle Battery
Says it is to fit my bike but it is just a bit narrower than the battery that was in it
Put a thin strip of rubber between the battery and the bracket that holds the battery in place to keep it from shifting.
Keep this battery or send it back and get one that fits exactly????

I appreciate all the suggestions for the fitting of the battery - That is secondary.
the question is did I purchase the correct battery and will it work - wiring it in everything currently starts right up.
