How can I go about brightening up the aluminum front wheel or is that not a easy task..

Not sure about the 1500 but I use an SOS pad on my 1800 wheels and it gives them a nice satin sheen. I wouldn't do this on wheels with a clear coat but the 1800 are natural metal. AND it's easy!

I use Mothers aluminum polish. I also have a 4 inch buffing pad that came in a kit.

Me too. I just wash the wheels & then use Aircraft Aluminum Stripper; NAPA sells it in a small can & it does a fantastic job. I do it about once a year.

Inexpensive too.
