My seat has a 2" tear in the side of it. I need ideas on how to either fix it or replace or cover it up. I have seen the furry seat covers on bikes but can not locate them. Are they hot in the summer? Or is there a better alternative to fixing it. On a budget so appreciate any and all suggestions......

Lots of vinyl seat repair kits out there. Years ago I used on in a truck I had. It held up for the four years I had the truck.

Any certain one you like?
Link opens a google search and various stuff shows up. Wall stuff has no price, Amazon has bad reviews etc...

I got a small tear in a perfect seat, stupid metal clip on boot caught it last year when my leg hip was going out with that bad muscle. Other seat is perfect other than minor cigarette burn when I got it.

I don't remember who made the one I had but think they are all pretty similar. If you look at some of those websites you might be able to find one that will match the texture of your seat, the bike's seat I mean. With a bit of googling you should be able to find reviews and youtube info on vinyl repairs.

I thought of getting one of those furry seats. Not sure how good they are and if they are very weather sensitive(hot, cold, rain) but thought it would be comfy. Might look into the repair kits as well. I just don't like things that I know I have to fix, it bugs me. Thanks for your options.
