I was checking the front pads on the right side front caliper because the lever will pull all the way to the throttle and I had bled the brake allready. I was thinking that maybe the pads were getting a little worn. After taking the caliper off and seeeing almost a 1/4 inch od pads I figured might as well put a touch of anti sieze on the bolts that the pads slide on. When I pulled the bolts out there was a shim about the size of a quarter in the upper piston but not the lower. Is this how Honda did it? I did not see it on the parts breakdown that I have a copy of. Any thoughts, put it back or leave it out. Iv'e only had the bike for 4 days and was in the process of making sure that all fluids and filters are good to go since I did not know any history on it. Thanks.
