Hi, I'm having trouble removing the orange plastic cap to bleed & top up. I don't want to force things as the container is only plastic.

Is the cap a screw on/off, pop on/off, partial twist & pop off or what?

Thanks

It unscrews normally.
It helps if you can get better leverage on the cap knurled sections. I'm making a tool to make it easier for me out of some aluminum bar stock.

Thanks Rudy. Yes, leverage is the problem, can't get a full grip on it with the limited space available. I might try to get something like an oil filter clamp now I know how it moves

I have used pump pliers with a light grip. You can cover it with a rag to protect the cap.

I have a filter wrench similar to a channel lock pliers that works for me. It certainly is a pain though.

Winger77 made a couple out of aluminum bar stock as well. One for the MC cap and one for the rad cap.

Give me a couple of seconds so I can hunt up that post for ya.

The rubber jaw canon pliers work well too.
