Howdy All,

I have a 95 SE and the air compressor will not run. When you decrease pressure it will decrease. When you check the pressure on the dash you hear the relay click. Fuse isgood. Any clues?

Check the relay first. I would then check power at the pump itself. Just use 12v and put the wires to the plug and see if the pump runs.....if not, then you may have a clogged pump. Sometimes the dessicant breaks down and will clog the pump. Will have to pull the pump to clean it up.

If all else fails...the pump is shot and I don't know if it can be rebuilt. I found one on ebay to replace my non-working pump.

Testthe wires at the compressor for power with a multimeter while you push the button.



This will eliminate alot of other components

The pump is good, I'll try your idea and see were it takes me.

The 1000 with the wire wheels looks great.

Cleaned the connectors at the rear fender & at the switch in the RT FWD fairing.....just needed a good cleaning, added a little dielectric when reconnecting good to go !
