Hey there folks...Greg here...

I'm not sure who asked me...but here is the picture of the garage door opener I installed in the right fairing cover of my 95 GL1500A. A little super-sticky double sided tape and a switch from Radio Shack along with two solder joints made this job really easy.

I hate drilling holes in my bike, so I picked a less-expensive item to replace...should it not work out...I guess I'm chicken.

Works well! Used an old Chamberlain unit.

Greg

I was lazy, I mounted my Genie opener with double stick tape to the right cubby lid.

Neat idea . I might try it too. For now I have mine on the lower part of the windshield to keepit out of the rain.
