Hi all. 1 more month and I can get the baby out of it's winter den and get it ready to ride. I did have one small problem last year. There was a slight backfire when ever I decelerated . I have run a search here and the only info I can find is on a 1200 with a similar problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Could be you simply need to run some cleaner through the carbs to remove a build up of deposits, or possibley you have a sticky valve? Just a couple of ideas to get you started. :waving:

You have a vacuum leak on one or both sides of the intake manifold where the hoses make a sharp 90 degree bend. The hoses either have a hole or have been sucked together

Check your exhaust manifolds , a tiny leak there will also backfire.
