My 82 interstate is just about there. I would like to thank all of the members and especially the Gurus for all of your assistance in helping me to restore a decent, but neglected classic back to running order. All I have left is some minor cosmetics that I am going to leave for the winter months when I can tear down the front fairing, remove the "tins" and get a fresh coat of paint on her. Here is a pic of "Kate" down by the Mississippi river with the Memphis pyramid (aka the tomb of doom) in the background.

rcmatt007; the Belle has been removed from Mud Island (yep, that's the name folks.) and is currently being restored before it will be moved to it's new berth out here near where I work in Collierville off of 385.

exavid; right now the pyramid is just sitting there... albeit with the excellent "Art of the Motorcycle" exihibition in it until October (worth a road trip to see)... but our fine tax dollars spent on it just a few years ago, now having been spent again on the FedExForum, basically went to waste. Even the area arena football league that used to play there has moved out of state... there are motions being made to turn it into the first casino in Memphis.... maybe we could call it the Mini Luxor?!:coollep: Maybe we should just cut it away from the bank and let it float downstream to Tunica and attach it to one of the existing casinos down there. LOL!
