I'm selling a GL-1500 with 105,xxx on the clock, and THAT mileage is scaring people away. I can imagine with 250,xxx, it must be much more difficult (thus, the price).

I'd say he'll be lucky to get a solid $2k offer. Even with all the new drivetrain parts, its known to need front work (brakes, rotors, bearings). That's more than a couple of hundred dollars.

He should not walk away from $1,500.

250K on theframe wouldn't bother me for that price. If I was in the market I'd buy it if it's all he says it is. $2500 is a great deal if the bike is in good shape.

How does the tupperware hold up with age/miles? cracks? My GL1100 has less than 60,000 and it is starting to develop cracks.. and my 2000 GL1500 even has a couple small ones at 17,000, soI'd be more concerned about the plastic parts than the steel...
