I think it belongs in the general, not in the wing tech. She's riding a shadow, I believe, and is considering apehangers. Please, lets not comment on the fact that its dopey, I agree.

What she asked me, is about extending cables and such. Anyone know a place to have custom cables made?

Motion Pro does custom cables. Gonna get expensive in a hurry, depending on how many she needs.

Back in the late '60s - thru the '70s, one could buy all the raw materials from our friendly, local Honda/BSA/Moto Guzzi dealer and we madeour own...not difficult after you screw up a couple for practice. Suddenly yer an expert!

I would like to think that one still could find this stuff at some dealers, at least... Yellow Pages is what I would start with...saves time & gas. :waving:

A lot f people have a misconseption about ape hangers. They are actually VERY comfortable up to slightly above shoulder height. They greatly reduce upper body fatigue up to that height.

They do become less and less practical the further above shoulder height you get.

I always wondered about that. When my shoulders and arms start aching, I raised them as high as I can and it feels much better.
