a lot louder than those little Stebil horns, I have one of those, almost useless.

oh, the horn on the 1800 is fairly loud, but it is NOT nearly loud enough to get the attention of someone pulling out of an intersection.....

Oncoming cars, turning left in front of you?
they can't see, or hear anything period.

I think if they don't or can't see you, they will not know where the train is coming from and will continue to make the turn. I also think they will work just as well as a deer alert. Some deer will stand and look while others will run out in front of you. 🤔

My RIVCO air horns are great. Trike had two sets, I removed the left side set as it was TOO LOUD. Hurt our ears inside helmets even, but sure got a response from a flock of resting Canadian Geese … at a pond … a long way across a huge field … that day.

No tanks, each pair had their own compressor that worked fast. Thinking of maybe putting the second set back on under the trailer pointed to rear?
