a little fun in the mountains

I apologize for the shaky video, my mount was loose and I didn't notice it until I watched the video.

we had a lot of fun in the Smoky's last week and of course, no trip is complete without at least one pass on the dragon.

we did the whole BRP and right there at the north end of it was the Skyline Drive so we had to see what it was about too.

I like that.
All looks familiar.
Just as a info-thing, not criticism, you can edit out a heck of a lot of camera shake with youtubes video enhancement settings.
I've used it on a few shaky roads and it definitely cleans them up. Won't necessarily totally remove the shakes, but can really tone it down.
FWIW
Seems to only shake when roll back on the throttle.......

Must be all that power......... Even the camera can't take it....
yeah, it didn't shake when I wasn't moving:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

thanks Born Again...I'll have to check that out.

the Cherohala Skyway was nice too

these pics are from 441 through the Smoky's National Park

I'm jealous, I have rode the BRP for the last 2 years and I love it but it looks like I wont be able to ride it this year.
Good stuff there Larry! Hope you didn't get tired of the area over here, I want a chance to ride with you guys again!

I'll be back;)
I love threads like this.

I seldom get East of New Mexico. All of this is foreign to me, and I love the photos.
I love the Parkway in the fog...... Gives it a mystique that is different than being in the mountains. Then 2 minutes later, Poof, Your back in the mountains.
yes John, i enjoyed that little stretch of road. it was only that way for just 3 or 4 miles.
Interesting how the terrain looks so much like Southern Oregon. Several of those views look like those we see here.
Lucy and I are jealous, wish we could have been there so you could have told her to lead again Larry!
sure would have been nice to have you two with us for sure. no tellin where Lucy would have led us.
b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l.....nice pics.......I live near (within 100 miles) and have not had a chance to ride the parkway yet....but this year.....
Thanks for posting the pics. I really like the North Carolina mountains. I try to get out there at least once each year to enjoy the roads and views.

Sorry I missed out meeting up with you ... maybe next time!!
