There's a very good possibility, that they did. ;)

The "flight path" looks like it's been cleared of boats.

The boats in the foreground, I suspect as photographer's boats (end of flight path).

The wake trails of these boats are very short and erratic, as if they've only just started their engines, after the plane had passed them.

Probably one of the boats is aCoast Guard boat, keeping the others at a safe distance. :leprechaun:

Can't say...BUT, I've been UNDER that bridge whilst on a troop ship coming home from Korea... perhaps not as exciting as in an airplane...but the feeling lasts longer...and OHHHHH what a feeling...COMING HOME!!! :applause::applause::applause:

They do, mine cost me another 6 years. :readit: Haven't seen out the back of a C130/C17 but have seen views like that out of Chinooks

I know an ex C130 pilot and a navigator that could tell you some great stories. :) I spend many hours in Cheyenne Mountain listening to them. :)
