just ordered a new set of elite 3's for the 1500 wing from cyclemax, along with rear brake pads forkoil and gates timing belts from rockauto, should have it all by the end of the week, so I can start stripping the tupperware off and get the wing ready by spring. anyone else by their tires online? I have got some from denniskirk.com in the past that were out of round and shook the bike, but I expect these to be good ones. the old tires are getting square and noisy cant wait to get some new quiet tires again!

I have always done mine online, save for in an emergency situation. Price is the first thing I look at, then the brand name....
I have purchased most of mine on-line with good results.
Bought a set of E3"s from Jake Wilson recently.
Tell me the best source for Dunlop Elite IIIs please. My '85 GL1200 and '83 GL1100 have Elite IIs on them!

And the heck of it is they run fine, except for a high-pitched whine when over 80 mph.
I buy them through Amazon (as are 95% of our online purchases). Doesn't matter to me who the actual seller is, if they're selling through Amazon you'll get excellent customer service. Also, the prices have been extremely competitive with low shipping costs and quick delivery.
